Most would agree that nothing beats the look of a nice tan. It’s beautiful when a person has some color to their face and body. The majority of people who love to spray tan feel that is very attractive and feel pale without it. They go out of their way to make appointments and pay good money for the procedure. There are a few other ways to get tans but spray tanning has been known for its convenience and good results. Although it hasn’t been proven to be entirely safe people should start to become more cautious. If you are one who is more careful but wouldn’t mind a nice spray tan then make the best of it. Three tips you should take to have the best tan possible remove unwanted hair, remove dead skin, and go with clean skin.

Tanned WomanYou have to take the unwanted hair out before the tan so you wouldn’t need to do it while you are enjoying your new color. If you do decide to shave or wax you will be shaving and waxing off your tan. So if you shave then shave ahead of time. If you wax, you need to be careful because after waxing, you open your pores and the pores will darken more than your skin. The solution to this is to wax days before. Don’t go with inflamed skin until it heals.

You should exfoliate by bathing or buying an body scrub. However you like to remove your dead skin, it doesn’t really matter. Just make sure you didn’t skip any areas. Have a a friend or a partner help you exfoliate your back also. The back is hard to reach and even if you do manage to reach it, it’s hard to scrub thoroughly.

Once you are nice and clean stay that way, don’t add any kind of lubrication to your skin like, moisturizers or deodorant. You can wait to do all that after the tan has been done. If you can’t help it then don’t expect that part of your body to absorb the tan. Everyone wants to have the longest lasting tan possible so be smart about it.

I’m not too sure if tanning every week is very safe but wouldn’t it be better if you get it only once in a while and learn how to preserve and prolong it instead? After all it might be better than sun tanning but it is a chemical and too much of anything could be bad for you. If you are smart and careful you wouldn’t need to get a spray on tan as often.
